The home to the USS Pioneer's Marine detachment. Marine Detachment facilities include a dedicated armory, equipment room, briefing area, and offices for detachment command.

Location Deck 9
Description Located on Deck 9 next the SCIF is the Marine Barracks. While called a barracks the Marines do not actually reside here. This area is home to the Marine Commanding Officer's office, Training center for the Marines and a weapons storage locker for the special weapons required for the Starfleet Marine Corps. A dedicated briefing room makes up the majority of the space set aside for the ship's modest complement of Marines. The close proximity to the SCIF allows the Marines to liaise easily with the Pioneer's Intelligence Department for any an all mission related information.
