Elloma was given her orders for the day, she had an early start, but for a good reason. The targeting systems needed to recalibrated and tuned to work in the badlands. It was not very difficult work, but it was time consuming.

She was suppose to meet Lieutenant tr'Hwersuil and Ensign Blackthorne in the tactical sensor array interface room. Elloma decided to start a diagnostic, while she waited for the other two to arrive.

She did not wait for the other two science officers to arrive. She knew how important it was to recalibrate the sensor array for there journey into the Badlands. She walked over to the main console display in the Primary Sensor Control Room.

Elloma begin to run a diagnostic. She wanted to make sure there was no glitches in the system. She began to think about her family. She wondered how her younger sister was doing in the academy.

Like Elloma she defied her parents as well, but she had yet to reach out to Elloma, but on the same token Elloma had yet to reach out to her as well.

She watched the computer run its course on the diagnostic, while this was going on, she was wondered what she would even say to her baby sister. It had been almost five years since they talked last.

Elloma noticed the other two science officers as they walked in. They briefly talked about what each of them were going to do for the targeting sensor array and all started to get to work. All three of them were very silent.

Elloma wondered if they had their own issues they needed to attend too.

She was not use to anyone being this quiet, three of them recalibrated the sensor array, it was progressing slowly.

The time allowed Elloma a chance to think about life, and about how much she missed her family. And how she was angry they were not in support of her joining Starfleet.

Elloma did not feel that serving in Starfleet was a job for the common person, they all should do their part and help out. She was ashamed of her nobilities roots and how they proceeded.

What was acceptable and what was not proceived as acceptable.

She could not help but wonder how Nassie was feeling? She wanted to reach out to her so desperately.

Over the past five years, they lost touch and that emotionally hurt her. She debated about breaking the silence, and reaching out.

At the moment though, she needed to stay on target, she had work that needed to be completed and she could not afford to be distracted with family drama. A short time later the targeting sensors were recalibrated.
