Location: Robertson's Quarters
Timeline: MD006 0500 Hours

Clarissa woke up, having the urge to go pee, but something was a little off in the room. The smells, the noise, the feel of the sheets were all off. She slowly opened her eyes. She noticed herself, curled up next to a man. Did she and Paul make up, was her first reaction. But then it dawned on her. She never crashed at Paul's place for the night.

Clarissa asked herself, What have I done? She kept asking herself over and over again. She started to slowly sit up, realizing that she was naked. Who was naked with. She focused her eye sight on the man in the bed. Things were very confusing for her now. It was Ensign Robertson, one of Paul's crew members.

She wondered where her clothes were. She really could not hold it, she really had to go to the bathroom. After returning from the bath room, she started to wonder, what in the hell happened last night. She remembered crying to Elle her best friend, she remembered going to After 11, after that, most of it was a blur.

She was a little puzzled what to do, or where her clothes were. She decided best to crawl back into bed, waiting for Jayden to wake up. Maybe he can help her find her clothing. They had to be in this room somewhere. She started to crawl back on the bed, trying not to wake up Jayden.

Jayden had heard her get up and go to the bathroom. He almost said something but he didn’t. He held his breath until he realized she was getting back in bed with him. Opening his eyes more, he looked over at her. “Morning.” He said, his voice was gravelly from just waking up.

"Morning." She said, as she crawled into bed next to him, pulling the covers a little put a blanket barrier between them for the moment. She was still trying to figure everything out. "Do you have a good time last night?" She asked, realizing after the fact, how dumb that question was.

“I’m not going to lie.” He said quietly. “Even though I drank way too much I remember what we did and I did enjoy it.” He took a deep breath. “But not just the sex. I enjoyed spending time with you and listening to you pour out your heart.”

"I did, I'm so sorry." Clarissa said with an apologetic tone. Did she have pitty sex or revenge sex or was it something else. She was not sure yet. She was very confused at this stage. She needed some clarity. "What happened last night? Most of it is a blurr, sorry I forgot most of it." She said a little apologetic.

"We decided to get as drunk as we could and still make it home," Jayden replied. "It was that first kiss that did me in." he admitted, unable to lean over and run his hand down the side of her face. "When I first saw you I thought you were the prettiest woman I'd ever seen. But I was wary, a lot of times pretty doesn't go very far but you soon showed me differently. We came here and I don't know who undressed who but," he grinned then. "I'm sure I don't have to tell you what happened. It was incredible but then after, you started telling me about your life and I just found myself liking you even more. I shared about my life as well."

Clarissa felt guilty. She did not recall any of that. "I did?" She asked, with a big look of confusion on her face. She was not sure how to react or to think at this moment. Does she kiss him? Does she run away and chalk it up as a mistake?

“You did,” he smiled. “We did. It was amazing and I am sorry you only have my word for it.”

"I guess there is only one way to know for sure, if what we had last night was real or not." She said, as she took hands and pulled him on top of her, and started to make out with him. One thing led to another, the two started to fool around, and eventually had sex. She wanted to know if she had feelings or not, if they had a connection. As soon as they started to kiss, pieces of last night came in like a blurr, by the time they had completed she felt that she had enough pieces to say, they did.

A couple of hours later...

She was breathing heavy, as she laid on him. "Ya I think there is something there. You have to admit though, this is the strangest way for two people to hook up?" She told him, but she was mainly telling herself that.

“I believe in fate,” Jayden smiled. “And she led us to the right place. I wasn’t going there but at the last minute I changed my mind.”

"After having sex, you tell me that you believe in fate. So fate is to blame for all of this?" She asked in a seductive playful tone. She looked into his eyes. Thinking to herself, keep talking romeo. You are on a roll.

“She nudged us,” Jayden smiled. “We took it from there.” He pulled her close, kissing her. “Tell me you don’t have to work today and we can spend the day together.”

"I like that idea, and I have no attention of leaving this very spot." She said, as she returned his kiss. After a couple kisses she just laid there, looking at him. "Your not going to hurt me, are you? I am not interested in a fling, I know its to early for a relationship, or is it? We did sleep together, twice apparently." She said, hoping it was not to early to get that title on him. She wanted re assurance, he was not going to be a Paul, and keep things on the down low. Never again, she told herself.

Jayden laughed. “Earlier I was going to ask if we could be exclusive. I am not interested in notches on a belt. I want you to be my girlfriend, we can go to dinner, maybe a party, whatever you want.”

"I like the idea of being exclusive and perhaps your girlfriend." She teased him, with a big grin on her face, as she laid on him. "I would like that very much." She said to him. This was a little insane she thought to herself, but in a good way. Last night, she was seeing Paul, today she has a boyfriend, and its not Paul. What was she doing, and why did it feel so good? She was on a high of euphoria, and loved it.

“I know he hurt you,” Jayden said. “But he is the real loser here. If he couldn’t see what a treasure you are then he deserves what he gets.” He smiled.”I feel like the luckiest guy on the ship.”

"That's very sweet of you to say, but you still have to work with the guy, so let's keep the loser comment between us." She suggested, thinking it was nice to have someone on her side, besides her best friend Elle. Oh crap, she wondered if Elle would approve of this? This was very fast.

“There won’t be a problem unless he says something I don’t like about you,” Jayden promised.

"Play nicely, and I will play nicely, later on too. I don't want to visit you in the brig." She said to him. He was very sweet, and she wanted to get to know him better.

“Fine,” Jayden said with a smile. “I won’t punch him in the face.”

Clarissa gave him a stern look. She was serious, she wanted him to leave Paul alone. She wanted to look all serious, but that damn face was so handsome, and those damn eyes of his. They were so memorizing. She hoped he caved in soon, cause she was about too.

“Enough talk about the loser,” he leaned over and kissed her. “I have much more interesting things to do.”

"We both do, I have a holodeck reservation later on today. Do you want to go with me?" She asked, hoping he would say yes. She heard him say, he had no other plans today.

“I go where you go,” he said with a grin. “It is our day.”

"Lets watch a movie in bed, I'm not ready to go anywhere." She said as the scene start to fade, with her rolling off to the side of the bed, and cuddling up next to him. She thought to herself, he needs more pillows in his bed.
