Mission: Episode 10 - New Home, Same Pioneers
Location: Sick Bay - Deck 5 - USS Pioneer
Timeline: MD008 1130 hrs

Azure walked into Sickbay and made a bee line for the CMO's office.

She knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

"Enter." Hermia called looking up from her work.

Azure did so and coming to attention, she called "Corporal Azure Thompson reporting as ordered, ma'am."

"At ease, Corporal." Hermia said. "Nice to see you, Azure."

"And you, Commander, congrats on the promotion." Azure said.

"Thank you." Hermia replied. "You know the drill."

"Indeed." Azure said climbing onto the nearest biobed. "I'm ready for my close up, Mr. Deville." She said strike a funny pose."

Hermia just rolled her eyes, grabbed a medical tri-corder and began scanning the Marine. "Have you been taking your daily chromotheane injections?" She asked.

"Yes." Azure said. "And I know if I don't take them, my genome could collapse and then there would be no more Azure." She replied.

"Good." Hermia said. "Have you had any side effects?"

"Nothing serious, a little tiredness, and my pee is green." Azure said.

"Those are expected side effects, though we still don't know for certain why the second one happens." Hermia said.

"Yeah, and I doubt its a priority for the pharmaceutical companies to find out." Azure replied.

Completing the scan, Hermia said. "You have a minor tear in your left rotator cuff, is that causing you any pain?"

"A little." Azure said.

"Okay, I'll give you a local, repair the tear and give you some Acinolyathin for the pain, okay?" Hermia said.

"Sure thing, you're the Doc." Azure said.

"I wish all my patients were so obliging." Hermia replied loading a hypospray with an anaesthetic and injecting it into Azure's shoulder.

Waiting a moment for it to take affect, she erected a sterile field around her patient's arm. She then used Subdermal Scalpel to affect the repair, it was all over in a matter of moments.

"That's all done, and I didn't even leave a scar." Hermia said with a smile.

"Thanks, Doc." Azure said climbing off the biobed.

"You're welcome, Corpsman," Hermia said. "Here's your Acinolyathin," She said handing the other woman a hypospray. "An I see you tomorrow for your shift."

"Roger that, Doc." Azure said and left.
