It is well known that Odo's sacrifice was to bring peace to the Great Link, and for a time it did. However, Changelings are people and think independently from the Great Link. Some liked the power of running the Dominion, and those that did form their own link and the Dominion was reborn. This new Dominion seeks revenge on those that were once their allies, the Cardassians and Empok Nor is all that stands in their way.

Episode 16 - Silent Cries
Post Count: 0The USS Pioneer returns to the safety of their home, Empok Nor. The crew is in need of some rest and escape from all that has happened. Commodore Tyler Malbrooke looks at this as a chance for him to reconnect with his wife and crew, and for the crew to reconnect with themselves.
The vacation is short live however, when a race who never wanted to be found sends a distress signal to the only beings they have ever known, the crew of the USS Pioneer. These people have no idea why this is happening or who is responsible. Can the Pioneer help a species that they don't remember exists? Can Commodore Malbrooke and his crew save The Silence before they no longer exist? Find out if the crew of the Pioneer have what it takes to defeat something that is more powerful than Silence.

The ship looses power, only emergency lightening and life support works. How can the crew get their ship moving without being able to communicate with each other? No one knows who is alive or dead. With the warp core containment field failing and the slipstream quantum shielding down, will the crew be able to restore the ship before she tears herself apart.

Can the Cure now led by Edmund Merrick and the crew of the Pioneer rescue their friend Commanding Officer? Perhaps today is a good day to die.

Post Count: 0Interrogation of the traitor Calvin Quaid reveals the presence of a secret Obsidian Order base deep within the Badlands. When the Pioneer arrives at the base they find it deserted but not destroyed. This is unlike Cardassians when they abandon an installation. A full investigation is launched. What have the Cardassians been hiding and why is it first coming to light now.
This is a wonderful cross sim mission with the crew of the USS Valiant.

The crew of the USS Pioneer must race to solve the Cardassian mystery before it is too late for both Cardassia and the Pioneer itself.

Episode 7 - Home Again
Post Count: 379The Pioneer is fresh from repairs and hangs in orbit of Cardassia Prime. However, her stay on Cardassia is only for as long as the thank yous from the Detapa Council can last. Captain Malbrooke orders the ship back to Empok Nor, and orders the crew to take shore leave. After the tensions and hard fought battles that they have had the crew needs it. Tensions on the station are high when the Pioneer arrives. However, the crew still enjoys themselves for what could be their last time coming Home Again.

Episode 8 - The Silence
Post Count: 222Following Shore Leave the Pioneer is sent on what seems to be a routine survey mission. Since the CDF has it's hands full cleaning up the homeworld Cardassia requests the Pioneer to survey a planet and see if it is suitable for Cardassian colonization. Upon arrival the Pioneer finds signs of life on the planet complete with an unknown station. The crew of the Pioneer will have to answer the following questions. Why had Cardassia no known about this? Who built all of this? But most importantly where did they all go. It seems that Malbrooke, Ó Flannagáin, and the rest of the Pioneer crew have an old fashioned mystery on their hands.

Episode 9 - Empok's End
Post Count: 207The USS Pioneer returns from a routine survey mission to find that their home is no more. Station Empok Nor has been seized by the New Maquis and the Obsidian Order. Now the crew of the Pioneer along with Marines being led by General Sobel and Captain Tremble have to try to get the station back before the fragile peace built between Cardassia and the Federation comes to an end. A new ally emerges as the mysterious Azzians step forward and into galactic politics.

Episode 10 - New Home, Same Pioneers
Post Count: 465The USS Pioneer's mission at Empok Nor and Cardassian space is complete. The ship is ordered to rejoin Task Group 47 at Starbase Sirius on the Romulan Neutral Zone. It seems that the Tal Shiar is back and Starfleet wants the crew that took down the Obsidian Order to take down the Tal Shiar. Are the Pioneers up to the task? For now the crew gets to know their new home.

Post Count: 251Sophomore Cadet Lyie t'Hweruil has been kidnapped from Starfleet Academy on Earth. The USS Pioneer is asked to venture into Romulan space and rescue her. Who will they find on the other side of the Zone? The Romulans that are looking for peace and a rebirth in the fallout from Hobus or the same old Romulans. Will the Pioneer's crew and her Chief Science Officer be able to rescue the Cadet despite the emotional attachment? The Pioneer is on uncertain ground as they wade into a game of wits with Romulans who will hit too close to home.

Post Count: 220As the Pioneers regroup and decide how to deal with Colonel Loval the ship puts into orbit at Risa. After the tension of the past two weeks the brief respite is needed and deserved. The ship returns to its home at Empok Nor where some the crew take their leave. Old flames are rekindled and new flames are lit at their old home.

Episode 13 - Crooked River
Post Count: 302When hundreds of feet wash up on the shores of an island on the colony planet Igion the Jutrai send out a distress call. It seems that their burgeoning colonies cannot investigate this phenomena. The Pioneer responds to assist their new allies.
A ghastly enigma with no apparent solution. Called away from vacation on Risa, Captain Malbrooke reluctantly agrees to visit the planet—and, despite themselves, the crew is quickly drawn in by the incomprehensible puzzle. An early pathology report only adds to the mystery. With an ocean of possibilities confronting the investigation, no one is sure what happened, why, or from where the feet originated. And they desperately need to know: are the victims still alive?

During that time it has enjoyed a peaceful time of exploration. However, now Cardassia is threatened on all sides, and especially from within. Starfleet is trying to stave of war, but the drumhead tightens and a Starfleet Marine Corps Brigade is formed.

The Ties That Bind - Empok Nor Episode 2
Post Count: 62The dust has settled and the day belongs to Starfleet with a little help from the Klingons. The Breen have retreated, and the Maquis are all but washed up. All of that is great however, one question remains can Empok Nor recover. Cardassia lays in ruins, torn asunder by civil war, Rodney Leyton escapes into the great void of the galaxy and Gul Typhon Prenar lay slain by his own son.
The crew returns to Empok Nor from their temporary exile but the ramifications form the Battle of Empok Nor will be felt for quite some time. How will they handle it, and what will become of the station.
