I would like to offer this award for the portrayal of Makeba Brown in the post titled "The Turnkey." That post dealt with some harsh issues, and had some tense moments. I not only enjoyed writing this with them but I have found myself rereading it often. As it maintains my interest.

I am putting the post "Bonded in Time" up for this award for this mission. In this post the writer behind Captain Anderson is the same as Elloma Essu and they pulled double duty. Switching from one character to the next very often in mid paragraph without disrupting the flow of the post. I also appreciate the fact that the writers were ready willing and able to give their characters from another sim a chance to play out in an alternate universe. Well done to all involved. Bravo...

This ship has made it through it's first year. Like programs on TV the first year of a sim is always the roughest. I want to thank each of you for getting us through it. Onward to new heights.

Captain Tyler Malbrooke, is a constant professional. And always recruiting for him. And keeping in contact with his crew. His leadership and commitment, is the main reason his sim is striving.

Captain Malbrooke is very active on his discord, and talking to his crew. Taking input, and incorporating ideas, as they fit. He is flexible and willing to assist anyone under his command.

I'm nominating the Package Acquired post, a small misunderstanding led to a blow-up which basically turned the mission on its ear and, in my opinion, made it a lot of fun to read.

The post titled "Belly Of The Beast" is nominated for this award. This post was a cross sim post with crew of the USS Tianglong. It served a number of purposes, two of which were to show a desperate group of people who would stop at nothing. The other was to establish a plot point to be revealed further down the road. This particular plot point will effect both the Pioneer and the Tianglong. I think it was beautifully written by all involved and kept the tension of a hostage situation high. It also showcases the talent prevalent in both sims. Well done to everyone...

A huge portion of the mission Empok's End was battle. Both between ships and on the ground. I am awarding this award to everyone who participated in this epic battle scenes. Scenes that can be hard to write as they are very visual. These writers deserve special recognition for making you feel like you were there in the heat of battle. Awarded for the portrayal of Makeba Brown, Flarn, Shayla Kunadt and others.

I am giving this award for the post titled "Redemption" It is an emotional, action packed post. One can tell that a lot of energy went into that post. It wasn't just a death scene, it gave us three things all at once. A triple gut punch if you will. First there was what was going through Dana's mind when she died, an allogory to what may go through anyone's mind when they die. Next a friend, by way of Diari gives us what it is like to witness a death and be helpless about it. Finally, Malbrooke gives us the removal from death, that life continues without the knowledge of someone dying. Very powerful... Just a well written post. Bravo!

Captain Tyler Malbrooke truly deserves this award. He personally lead his crew, in the efforts of our September 200 challenge. He is an incredible character, and his writer is fun to work with. And motivates his crew to give their best!

The friendship that is building between Sofia and Tyler is one that can be cherished. It goes beyond the Captain and Yeoman relationship, it is more brother and sister. This is something that I have cherished as both a player and a reader. It is great to see the Captain in vulnerable moments with the young woman, and her teaching him without knowing it to be strong and lead by example.

I'm nominating Even Captain's Need Shore Leave for Outstaning Post this time around for several reasons. At it's heart, it's simply a really well written post that opens up more of Tyler's life and builds the characters really well. Because it's a post about Tyler and Katherine, it interweaves their story and helps us know them.

Nicely done.

For the time I have been a part of the USS Pioneer, I have seen a great passion and love for his ship and his crew. Captain Tyler Malbrooke is someone I can call a friend, and when we speak of the USS Pioneer his voice virtually glows as to how much he is invested in the sim. Thank you, it has been a great honor to be on this ship with you. -Merrick

The post titled "The Adventure Begins" stands out during this mission for me. If I am honest nothing major occurs there is no great revelation about a character. However, a simple look into what a crew talks about while approaching a station and vacation. What those expecting them talk about. There is a general happy feel about this post and that is something that after the last mission this ship sorely needed. I would like to commend everyone in this post for creating a great general Star Trek type post.
