For engaging almost everyone in a post as soon as they arrived. Add to that the assistance in connecting some loose plot points behind the scenes. Equals a person well deserving of this award.

The Marine XO joined the sim and hit ground running. They have made their presence known with a number of posts with most of the crew. As well as within the Discord channel. A great addition to our Pioneer family and a great writer. Thanks for joining the sim and keep up the great work.

Congratulations on making it six months with this zany nuthouse. Your creative energy and zeal for synergy is a great asset to this and any other sim you would be on. Thanks for being a friend and an outstanding member of this community.
Recruitment Award Recruitment Award
Awarded Tue Sep 13th, 2022 @ 6:03am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Awarded for their recruitment of Lieutenant Junior Grade Ja'sol H'ros Re Seva. The addition of Ja'sol was a great boon to the Pioneer and as CO I am overjoyed that they are part of this sim and this community. There is a distinct sense of mystery and suspense to the security posts from Ja'sol. None of that would have been possible if not for the First Lieutenant's recruitment. So on the six month anniversary of Ja'sol's joining the Pioneer I would like to recognize the person who brought them here.

For the post titled "Dream, Nightmare, or Guilt" It has been quite a long time since we had a real counseling post and this one suits that bill. It also gives us a great look into the character that is Edmund Merrick. Thank you to both Merrick and Rynn for this wonderful piece of writing.
Character of the Month Character of the Month
Awarded Mon Jan 2nd, 2023 @ 11:59pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
It is always helpful when a player steps up to help keep a post going when it stalls out, and to keep the plot flowing. Merrick has done all of that and more in the past month. They always pop on the Discord channel to say hello and even ask after someone if they have not signed on in a while. Thank you for being the beacon this award exemplifies.

Merrick was one of the key players in keeping Crooked River moving. Always willing to jump in with a tag to make sure that everything stayed on track. Like a true Marine always there when things are tuff. Keep up the great job. OOOHHHH RAH!

Support Character of the Month Support Character of the Month
Awarded Tue Jul 4th, 2023 @ 10:16pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
A cross sim mission can be a hassle for any member of the crew. However, you have taken the idea and ran with it. Not only contributing ideas for posts but making sure that they are written, and coordinating people from both sims to keep things flowing. The Intelligence Department gathering is just one example of what you are doing to support this sim and this mission. Keep up the great work and on behalf of everyone on the Pioneer I think I can say Thank You!
Outstanding Volunteer Award Outstanding Volunteer Award
Awarded Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:31pm

Cynthia is always there to lend an ear for ideas to bounce off of. She is willing to jump in feet first and help sort out an issue if she can and is wanted to do so. I will always recognize those who are ready willing and able to serve in an out of character capacity. So, I want to say thanks for being there and keep up the great work.
Outstanding Post Ribbon Outstanding Post Ribbon
Awarded Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:32pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
The post titled "The Adventure Begins" stands out during this mission for me. If I am honest nothing major occurs there is no great revelation about a character. However, a simple look into what a crew talks about while approaching a station and vacation. What those expecting them talk about. There is a general happy feel about this post and that is something that after the last mission this ship sorely needed. I would like to commend everyone in this post for creating a great general Star Trek type post. Edmund is also the writer behind Commander Cara Letsul of Poseidon Station
Friendship Ribbon Friendship Ribbon
Awarded Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:40pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
The post Marine, Security Meetup was not only an enjoyable read but it showed us crew members from different assignments coming together and forging friendships. This is what this award was created for and what the cross sim idea is all about. Keep up the great work.
Most Creative Cross Sim Post Most Creative Cross Sim Post
Awarded Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:42pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
I would like to give this award not for one post but for a series of posts. The series Two Spooks Meet At the Bar is not only a good glimpse into two people's stories, but a great relationship building set of posts as well. It symbolizes the idea that two crew members from different assignments can become friends and maintain that friendship across the great distance. I for one cannot wait to see this unfold in missions to come. Merrick is also the writer behind Stefan Zamfir from Poseidon.
Support Character of the Month Support Character of the Month
Awarded Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:45pm
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
Cross sim missions can always be hard. It helps immensely when someone is willing to go the extra mile and engage people to keep things moving. Merrick is just such a person as they reached across the sim lines and made connections between both crews.
Executive Officer's Merit Award Executive Officer's Merit Award
Awarded Sat Nov 11th, 2023 @ 9:45pm
Nominated by Major Cornelius Tremble
Perhaps a continuation, but I'm still applauding the hard work Ed's writer has been doing on the Poseidon Crossover. Crossovers are hard to get done and yes it does help to write both SIM's. It's still a good bit of work well done and deserving of praise.
Service Citation 2+ Years Service Citation 2+ Years

2 Years and counting! Thanks for being a friend and an crucial part of this sim. In fact I can't imagine what the Pioneer would be without you aboard. Here is to many many more years and stories to tell.
Character of the Year Character of the Year
Awarded Wed Jan 17th, 2024 @ 12:46am
Nominated by Commodore Tyler Malbrooke
2023 was a banner year for our beloved Marine XO. Not only have they earned Character of The Month (Jan), Second Officer's Award of Merit (Mar), Executive Officer's Award of Merit (Nov), but they have written 53 posts. Those achievements are nothing to shake a stick at. The character growth has been substantial both in their career and personal spheres. In the Marine Corps Merrick has stepped up and played integral roles in Marine missions as the Marine CO is busy being XO of the ship. In the personal sphere we have seen them branch out and explore romance.

Behind the scenes the writer behind Merrick shows great initiative in pushing posts and plotlines. Making sure everyone is involved and having fun with the story. I have to add that this writer has not only been an integral part of this crew, but they have become inseparable from this community. Indeed I cannot imagine the Pioneer without them.

I thank you for being a part of the Pioneer family and have great pride in presenting you this award.
