Jayden smiled as their buzzer went off. “I bet he’s at the door, one of his should let him in.”

Clarissa was bent on beating them both while Jayden just played for fun though he did like to win.
Jayden shook his head. “You better be ready because Zaire is cut throat when it comes to winning.” He smiled as she came walking over.

Clarissa knew it was game time, and that Zaire and Jayden were both going down. She was very competitive, and believed in her heart and mind, that she could easily wipe the floor with both of them. "I like that confidence baby, very sexy of you. Try to remember it, when I wipe the floor with you and Zaire."

Jayden grinned at her. “Your feeling a little bit over confident. Tonight is the night we take you down.”

"Good luck, for the love of god, take off that ridiculous ship t shirt. I swear we need to burn them all. No more talks about their functional they are." Clarissa said, as she hated seeing that shirt on him.

“Let me go change it,” Jayden rolled his eyes. “I’ll grab one of my new ones and you can have a shirt burning party.”

"I have a feeling it will not be that easy." Clarissa said, with a grin on her face. She might have to put up with the ship shirts, but their guest should not have too.

“Why do you say that,” Jayden called out. “Because I like them on occasion.”

"Because I have to wake up to that handsome face, wearing that ugly shirt. Umm ya, no thanks." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face. "And because you love me."

“I get rid of them all,” Jayden said with a grin. “Just to make you happy.”

"Says the guy who still has them." Clarissa said, knowing he was only saying that to get on her good graces. He liked the shirts, and she knew that.

“I like to wear them,” Jayden said as he came out in one of his new shirts. “I only wear them at home now but I will get rid of them if they really bother you.” He had and always would be a compromiser, it was his way and in the end it was just a shirt.

"Don't make promises you can not keep." Clarissa said, showing him, that was her way of compromising with him.

“I would give it my best shot,” Jayden replied. “It is only a shirt. I appreciate your tolerating them some of the time.”

"If this is going to work, you need to stop caving in, and state what you want baby in regards to the t shirt. I can see that they mean something to you." Clarissa told him, wanting him to stand up to her a little bit.

“I want to keep at least a couple,” Jayden replied. “I thought I said that already. They are like my lounge shirts, something I can lay around and be comfortable in.”

"Maybe you need to put your foot down, this is our place now, not my place. And if you want to wear your silly shirts, I will have to adjust to it." Clarissa said, as she pulled close to him, leaning in for a kiss.

Jayden kissed her. “And I will, here at home and I’ll wear the new ones when we go out.”

"And when we have company." Clarissa said, with a seductive tone, trying to reason with her man, through seduction. She had a big teasing grin on her face.

“I’m going to wear my new shirts,” Jayden replied with a smile. “Everyone hates them but me.”

"I don't think everyone hates them, I have seen other crew on the ship wearing them." Clarissa said, trying to be supportive. Depsite the fact, she personally hated them.

“Don’t sugar coat it,” Jayden grinned. “There aren’t many but that’s fine by me. I just think the shirts cool, it’s a part of who I am.”

"This ugly shirt in all is the man that I fell in love with." Clarissa said, trying to get him to be manly like, and not always caving in to her needs.

“And it’s not going anywhere,” Jayden said seriously. “I am keeping it.”

"Good." Clarissa said, as she leaned in for another kiss. She then called out after the kiss, "He should be arriving shortly." Clarissa said, as she kissed him again, as the scene fades away.

“Good!” Jayden grinned . “Let them games begin!”

The door bell intercom went off, Clarissa wished they had an hour before he arrived, but sadly he was there. As she held onto Jayden close. "Do you want to get the door?" Clarissa asked, as she hard time pulling away from her sexy beast of a man.

“Do I have to?” Jayden groaned. “Can’t we be sick or something?” He shook his head. “I know, we need to be good friends, Zaire needs us.” He headed over and opened the door. “Come in and be ready to lose!” He pasted a grin on his face.

Clarissa just grinned as she whispered before he opened the door. "Be a good host tonight, and tonight I will be good to you." Clarissa seductively whispered in his ear.

Zaire walked in with a smile. “You look like maybe I am early?”

"Your right on time, and Jayden is right. Prepare to come in second place. Boys, I am not loosing tonight." Clarissa said with a big grin.

“Big talk,” Jayden laughed. “I am going to be the real winner.” He looked over at Zaire. “You want something to drink?”

“Sure,” Zaire nodded. “Whatever you’re having is good.”

Clarissa just laughed, it was so cute to hear him say, he was going to win. When she knew, who was really going to win. "So what do you all want to loose at first?" Clarissa asked. Her way of saying pick your own poison. And prepare to be defeated.

“Hmmm,” Jayden frowned. “Shall we start with Uno?” He at least stood a chance with that one.

“One of my favorites,” Zaire grinned. “You are going down!”

"You already lost, before you even started." Clarissa said, as she sat down at the table with them. She rarely lost at this game.

“Bring it on!” Zaire said with a smile. “I am in it to win it.”

Jayden shook his head thinking that this would only ensure Clarissa a win.

"You heard the man, lets go." Clarissa said, as she watched Jayden hand out the cards.

Zaire picked his cards up and smiled to himself. He had a pretty good hand. “Want to concede now?”

Jayden picked up his cards and looked over at Clarissa. “You’re first.”

"you really expect that line to work?" Clarissa said with a barreling laugh, you are so gullible and so easy to read.

“It was worth a try,” Zaire grinned. “I do have an exceptional hand however.”

"Will see." Clarissa said, as they started to play the hand they were all delt. And before to long, Clarissa had won the first round.

Jayden grinned. “Did I call it or what.” He looked at Zaire. “You will get used to it after awhile.”

“Oh no,” Zaire shook his head. “I will win yet.” He looked at Clarissa. “Your turn to deal.”

Clarissa just grinned, as she started to do some fancy style dealing with the cards. "Sure slick." She said, with a big grin on her face. After a few shuffles, she handed the deck to Jayden, to cut the deck.

Jayden cut the deck, grinning at Clarissa. “Feels good, doesn’t it?”

Zaire watched the two of them and wondered if he and Kalina would be like that one day.

"That was me going easy on you, are you ready for me to kick it up a notch?" Clarissa asked, as she started to play the head games. Which was part of her game.

“Really,” Zaire raises an eyebrow. “We will see after this hand.”

Jayden just smiled. “Just accept defeat.” He said to Zaire. “She is a shark .”

The round picked up, in speed and intensity. Clarissa was watching like a hawk, and reading his cues, to know when to strike. And she did. Again she had one. Instead of saying anything, she just smirked, and handed the deck to Jayden to deal.

Jayden tolled his eyes. “I am telling you just give up, she has you now. I never win.”

“I will win at least one,” Zaire said with determination.”

"So you are saying, I need to let you win one?" Clarissa said, with a teasing voice. She was now coying with him.

“No,” Zaire shook his head. “I will win on my own merit.”

Jayden nodded. “That’s the spirit. Maybe I will too!” He winked at Clarissa.

"I do like you determination boys." Clarissa said, with a big grin. She had been playing this game for years, and new how to win. "And the confidence is great, proud of you both."

“Only because you are going to kick our butts,” Jayden laughed. “We all know it.”

“Speak for yourself,” Zaire said with a grin. “The night is going!”

"Ya its going alright, right into my pocket." Clarissa said, with a smirk on her face. She knew she had them beat. But she appreciate his determination.

Zaire stared at her for a long moment. “Do you ever lose?”

Jayden could have answered but he waited for Clarissa to tell him.

"Yes, actually before you came over. But even then, I sort of won." Clarissa said, as she looked over to Jayden. She knew he would get the reference to that ugly shirt.

“Okay,”Zaire looked at Clarissa. “I don’t think I was supposed to understand that.”

Jayden smiled at Clarissa and then looked at Zaire. “You are right.”

"He has some ugly shirts, and he gets to keep them. Let's leave it at that." Clarissa said, as she started to shuffle the deck again.

“You had to say that,” Jayden shook his head. “Didn’t you!”

“Ugly shirts,” Zaire frowned. “Why would anyone want to wear a shirt that is ugly?”

"Because we all have our perks about us. His is the ugly shirt, mine is winning at Uno." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face.

“I have no idea what mine is,” Zaire said with a sigh. “Other than giving you a hard time about slaying me at games.”

"So he admits it, well that is the first step to acceptance." Clarissa said, as the game continued to progress a long. She was trying to make him forget about his problems.

“I admit to nothing,” Zaire said as he threw down a draw four with one card left. He stared at her. “Blue.” He said with a grin.

"You were doing so well." Clarissa said, as she went out, when he called Blue. She had a big grin on her face. She had used his, in combination of the save fours she had and dumped them all on Jayden. She knew when to play her hand.

Zaire sighed. “I think this game is rigged.” He looked at her good naturedly. “It only likes you.” He laughed then. “You are really good.”

"Been playing for years, religiously." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face. "There are games, I am not good at." She said, with a humble smile on her face.

“Probably not many,” Zaire smiled. “But if nothing else I am a gracious loser or I try to be.”

"Anything could happen, I could get called up to the bridge." Clarissa said, with a humorous smile on her face.

Jayden laughed. “Now that would irritate you if you were just about to win.”

"The man knows me to well." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face. She was happy to see that he was distracted and mostly having a good time.

“How long have you two been together?” Zaire asked them. They seemed like they had known each other forever.

"A long time." Clarissa said, with a warm smile on her face, as she looked over to Jayden. He looked incredibly sexy tonight.

“You seem so connected,” Zaire commented. “And crazy about one another.”

"I like to think we are, and you will get there too. You are a good person, just give her time to see that. I have a feeling about you two." Clarissa said, with a big grin on her face.

Zaire smiled back. “I am as well. It is as if a weight has been lifted from me.”

"Well if you need us, we will be here." Clarissa said, as the scene starts to fade away.

“Thank you,” Zaire nodded. “That means a lot.”
