Interrogation of the traitor Calvin Quaid reveals the presence of a secret Obsidian Order base deep within the Badlands. When the Pioneer arrives at the base they find it deserted but not destroyed. This is unlike Cardassians when they abandon an installation. A full investigation is launched. What have the Cardassians been hiding and why is it first coming to light now.
