Mission: Episode 14 - The Poseidon Adventure
Location: Sickbay - Deck 5 - USS Pioneer
Timeline: MD005 1930

It was about ten minutes before Vura sauntered into sickbay. In her right hand, she was carrying a takeout box containing the remainder of her leftovers from her meal with Hermia. En route, the Deltan wondered if Hermia had taken a cold shower. After all, either her pheromones had an effect on Hermia, or she let a monster out. Maybe it was a combination of both. Either way, she was happy to see Hermia stretching her flirting legs again.

She called out, "Hermia, are you ready to get physical with me?"

Hermia left her office, adjusting her uniform jacket. She'd taken a cold shower and had put on her 'game face'.

"Hello Vura, if you could lie down on the nearest biobed, we can get things started."

Vura could not resist herself. So, in a playful voice, she told Hermia, "But lying down to get started seems so vanilla."

"Well, you could stay standing, but It will make things quite a bit more difficult." Hermia replied.

"That could be fun," Vura replied mischievously. "But, for you, I will lie down. Just watch where you stick that magic wand of yours."

Hermia allowed herself a brief grin. "My 'magic wand' will go where it needs to go." She said setting up a connection between her tricorder and the biobed.

Vura snickered approvingly. "Well, Doctor, if you insist. I will just have to leave myself in your good hands."

"You have great muscle tone." Hermia said moving a little closer to adjust the controls on the bed. "So, I know you can't act on them, but do you have, but have you found anyone aboard, that makes your heart skip a beat?"

"I don't normally work out, and well, I could probably eat better, so that's a good thing to hear." Vura responded. However when she heard the question about the heart skipping a beat, her heart stopped for a moment, and she deferred her answer, "There is another Deltan on board, I'm told. I could act on it with that person, if inclined."

"Yes, her name is Llaxia, she's an engineer, it not my speciality, but I think she might have dissociative identity disorder, as sometimes her sister manifests." Hermia replied.

"Her sister?!" Vura exclaimed, more interested. "And she's still on duty? How is that possible?"

"She has an understanding Boss and doesn't let it affect her work." Hermia replied.

Incredulously Vura asked, "How could that not affect her work? Are you saying that she can somehow control this?"

"It appears, so." Hermia said. "I could be wrong about DID. Vulcans can transfer the Katra to others, perhaps it's something like that. Like I said, it's outside my wheelhouse." She added.

"I need more information. I'm probably going to have to see Llaxia, too," Vura became more insistent. Her voice concerned.

"Well, that's a great way of evading my question, but if you'd like to go and find her, you can. You passed your physical, but I suggest you get some relaxation time, you have some stress." Hermia said.

Vura blinked and looked over at Hermia. "Stress? What stress? And evading what question. But yes, I do need to find Llaxia and look at her files."

"Suit yourself." Hermia said.

Vura sat up and looked at Hermia rather confused. "Whatever do you mean, Hermia?"

Hermia walked over to Vura. Supporting the Delta head with her hand, she gave her a deep, but brief kiss on the lips. "Now get out before I make things worse."

Vura gulped and nodded swiftly. She had been too much for Hermia and now that Hermia had kissed her, Vura knew what would come next. She had to get out for Hermia's sanity. While Vura had missed physical intimacy, she knew what she had gotten into when she took the Oath. "Get in a cold shower or take it out on someone else now, Hermia," Vura called as she swiftly rushed out of sickbay.

Hermia's head was swimming. She had to fight the urge to follow Vura out of the Sickbay as images of them both naked and in a loving embrace. The CMO's heart was racing and her breathing was becoming laboured.Perspiration formed on her forehead as she stumbled her way to the dispensary. She was able to find medication, that would limit the effects of Vura's pheromones, and administer it, as collapsing to the deck her last words were "Initiate EMH." before losing consciousness.

Bones appeared and before he could finish his usual greeting, he spotted Hermia on the floor.

Finding her unconscious, he picked her up and carried her to a biobed, grumbling that he was "A doctor, not a forklift."

As he monitored her condition, he alerted the oncall medical officer and informed them of the situation.
