"I almost didn't recognize you," Pecia whispered into Jennifer Master's ear, having done her best to sneak up on her fellow spy. It was early evening and the crowd in the bar was beginning to pick up, giving the room a continuous hum of white noise in the background Satisfied that she had done an effective enough job, the alien woman made her way around the table and into Jennifer's field of vision. She held a glass of Haliian wine in each hand and slide one across the tabletop to the enlisted woman. "It has been a while," she said as she slid lithely into an empty chair.

Jenn took the wine. "It most certainly has." She took a sip for the wine. "What dark mysteries are you working now a days? Harassing any academy drop outs lately?" She grinned. "What ever your planning, I am still not revealing any hacking secrets. And not going to say anything that implicate me today, tomorrow or any time. If that is what you're after. Besides as my uniform testifies, I am one of your people now."

"I'd heard," Pecia said quietly and sipped from her glass and crossed her legs. "Better the devil you know, I suppose," she quipped ruefully. "It is good to see you again Jennifer."

Jenn grinned. "Surprisingly, or not, it's good to see you too, Pecia."

A waiter was approaching their table from Pecia's left. They'd barely touched their drinks. She waved him away with a long gloved hand, keeping her attention focused on the human woman across from her. "Scandalous as it may sound," she said, "I've moved away from field work since we last met. I'm headed back to the Gamma Quadrant about the starship Juno."

Jenn nodded. "I heard, the Crescent they are called, right?" She grinned. "Sounds like all sorts of fun. The Pioneer is on a hunt for the new Maquis. Never a dull moment with Starfleet, and I mean that." She took a sip from her wine. "I thought I would miss the old days, cooped up in an intelligence lab, sifting trough intelligence files. But I think I like it."

"There are times I miss those days," Pecia mused before tilting her own glass to her mouth. "No doubt you'll run into the True Way while hunting for the Maquis. I'll put you in touch with some of my... contacts in the area. I think you'll find them a useful bunch to know."

Jenn smiled. "That would be helpful. I heard about the True Way. Like I said, no boring days in star fleet." She took another sip from her drink. "I heard the Juno and Pioneer will be docked here more often. Maybe we see each other again. Let me know about the Crescent, I love to hear everything about them." She grinned.

Pecia held her glass aloft, inviting Jennifer to clink them together. "I think an informal information agreement sound like a splendid idea.

"I couldn't agree more." Jennifer put the glass to her mouth and downed it.

Pecia downed the last of her wine and stood up. "It was a pleasure Jennifer," she said running her fingertips across the tabletop. "Until next time," she smirked coyly.

Jenn nodded as she got up herself. "Until next time." She then walked away from the table.
